The Syrian Government has offered scholarships and Allocated seats to Pakistani Students under the cultural exchange programme for academic year 2010-2011 in the following fields:
Scholarships:
a). Medicine : 1 seat
b). Dentistry: 1 seat
c). Mechanical & Electrical Engineering: 3 seats
d). Sciences,Sharia,Humanities: 5 seats
Allocated Seats:
a). Pharmacy: 1 seat
b). Economics & Psychology: 4 seats
c). Law & Humanities: 5 seats
Terms & Conditions:
1.University Fees: University fees will be charged on reciprocity basis.
2. Age: Applicant`s age should be under 26 years.
3.Qualification: * Higher Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.
* Passing year of HSSC should be 2009 or 2010 with the following percentage of marks:
MBBS, BDS, B-Pharmacy: 90%
Engineering: 85%
Agriculture,Veterinary Medicine,Nursing: 70%
Other Faculties: 60%
Requirements:
1. CV indicating the purpose of study in Syria and information about previous education(3 copies).
2. 3 photocopies of SSc & HSC certificates attested by IBCC and Ministry of Foreign affairs,Pakistan.
3. Domicile(3 copies)
4. Health Certificate from a government hospital( 1 original & 2 photocopies).
Deadline:
Last date for the submission of applications is 20 July,2010.Applications should be submitted to Ministry of Education ,Islamabad.
