Margalla Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) has invited applications from both Foreign & Pakistani students for admission in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course at Margalla College of Dentistry for the session 2010-2011. Margalla College of Dentistry is a constituent college of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS). MIHS is recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and affiliated with University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore.
Details:
* Students will be selected on merit based on this formula:
Entrance Test / SAT II marks : 30 %
F.Sc or Equivalent exam marks : 70 %
* There is no age limit for admission.
* Selected students have to appear in an interview before the college's admission committee.
Eligibility:
Pakistani Students:
* Applicant should have 65% marks in F.Sc Pre-medical / Higher School Certificate Exam or any equivalent exam.
* Applicants who have B.Sc degree in Biological Sciences with first division are also eligible for admission.
* Pakistani students should have appeared in the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore entrance test 2010.
Foreign & Overseas Pakistani Students:
* Applicants should have passed Higher School Certificate exam / A Levels or equivalent examination.
* Foreign & Overseas Pakistani students should have an equivalence certificate of their qualifications form IBCC of Pakistan (www.ibcc.edu.pk).
* Foreign & Overseas Pakistani Students should have either a SAT II score of 550 or they should have appeared in the entrance test of UHS Lahore.
* Applicants should have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS score of 5.5 if they have studied in institutions where English is not the medium of instruction.
Required Documents:
The applicants should attach attested 6 copies of the following documents with their application forms:
* Secondary School Certificate / Matric / Senior Cambridge certificate or equivalent.
* Higher School Certificate / F.Sc Pre medical / A Levels or equivalent certificate.
* An equivalence certificate from IBCC( for students with foreign qualifications).
* 12 recent passport size photographs.
* Copy of CNIC of the applicant & Guardian / Father of the applicant ( Pakistani Students).
* Copy of Passport ( Foreign students).
