The Government of Yemen has offered scholarships to Pakistani students under the cultural exchange programme for the acamedic year 2010-2011.
Number of Scholarships:
a). 20 Scholarships for Graduate studies.
b). 20 Scholarships for Undergraduate studies.
Available Study Programmes:
a). Engineering
b). Pharmacy
c). Science
d). Computer Sciences
e). Arts
f). Laboratories
g). Sharia
h). Education
* Pharmacy, Engineering, Laboratories, Computer Sciences : 85% Marks required.
* Science, Education, Sharia : 75% Marks required.
* Arts : 70% Marks required.
Scholarship Benefits:
1). A monthly stipend of 10,000 Yemeni Riyals ( US $ 25) will be given to each student.
2). Free hostel accommodation will be provided to students subject to availability of hostels in the desired universities.
3). Students will not pay any university fee except activities fee of US $ 30 per year.
4). Students will be provided with free of cost medical treatment in Yemeni hospitals.
Terms & Conditions:
1). Students already studying in Yemen on Self Finance basis will not be transferred to the Scholarship seats.
2). The required certificate for scholarship should not be old than 2 years.
3). The Air Tickets will be arranged by the students on thier own.
Required Documents:
1). Two seats of all academic transcripts from Matric (SSC) to recent qualification attested by IBCC, Higher Education Commission & Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
2). Medical certicicate ( original + 1 Copy)
3). Two copies of passport.
4). Two copies of Curriculum vitae.
5). 7 recent passport size photographs.
