A group of UK based Pakistani doctors provide scholarships to students of Pakistani medical colleges under FAMS(Financial Assistance For Medical Students) programme round the year.The scholarship only covers tution fee for the entire study period.
Eligibility:
1). The Student applying for FAMS scholarship must be regular student of a medical college recognized by PMDC.
2). The student must have a good attendance and satisfactory examinations record.
3). The student have to pass all regular or supplementary professional examinations.
4). The student must provide a certificate of good conduct from the respective medical college every year.
5). The student should provide a certificate from the principal of the college showing that he/she is unable to pay the tuition fee.
Selection:
1). Applications are invited through a notice displayed on the colleges notice boards.
2). The applications are received and verified by the college committee.
3). The student have to appear in an interview conducted by the college committee.
4). The college committee then sends the list of selected students to FAMS board of trustees.
5). FAMS pay the money to the college,no funds are given to the student directly.

Cairo University is a leading Public university of Egypt.Cairo university offers admission to international students in different Undergraduate academic programmes including Medicine and Engineering.Interested students for admission in cairo university should follow the following guidelines:
Eligibility:
a). Foreign students should have an Egyptian High School Certificate or its equivalent.
b).The students should pass the qualifying subjects and must get the minimum grade required for their desired faculty/Programme.
Requirements:
1).International students should obtain an equivalance certificate from the concerned authorities in their countries or the Egyptian Embassy.
2).The Students should attest and approve their Equivalent High School Certificate from the concerned authority,Foreign Ministry of their country or the Egyptian Embassy.Students belonging to Americas,East Europian and Russian States/Central Asian countries must approve their equivalence certificates from the Egyptian embassy.
3).The students should get an approval certificate from the Egyptian embassy for studying in Egypt.
4).The students should enclose photocopy of his original certificate along with equivalence certificate.
5).The students should submit their applicatioms along with all necessary documents,6 recent photos,Original Birth certificate or its copy, and photocopy of Passport.
Tuition Fees:
Diffirent faculties have different admission and tuition Fee structure.Admission fee for the faculty of Medicine is 1500 Sterlings.Students can also pay the fees in equivalent US $ or Euro.
